About Lauren Zimmermann

Hi! I’m Lauren! I started photography when I was 12, I worked alongside my Mom when she photographed team and individual pictures for sports and schools. It was often the same set up with the same routine and I grew incredibly bored with photography. But the more I picked up the camera on my own the more I saw another side to it. I’ve always been a creative and crafty person and I found in photographing people I didn’t always have to follow a routine. I quickly formed a relationship with and a passion for taking photos of people. Soon after graduating high school, I moved to Dallas and graduated with a degree in photography at the Art Institute. Three days later, I moved to Los Angeles! Living in LA has been a whirlwind of life and my love for photography and art has only grown. Every person is unique and every job requires something different to be showcased and I’ve fallen in love with creating differently with each person and idea.
